write a calligraphy, recite an ancient poem about mid-autumn festival... with the arrival of mid-autumn festival, a mid-autumn folk carnival with the theme of "inheriting folk customs and uniting family" was held in the xinjiangwancheng street community cultural center in yangpu district, bringing a unique festival experience to community residents and college students.
the event was jointly organized by the united front work department of yangpu district committee, tongji university international cultural exchange college, yangpu chinese culture college and xinjiangwancheng subdistrict. the event specially set up a folk experience area and a card-punching area. folk experience such as candied haws, cotton candy, blowing sugar figures, kneading dough figures, sugar painting, traditional paper cutting, sachets, etc., and the ancient style pitching pot, cuju and other small games in the card-punching area attracted many people to interact, and the scene was very lively.
xinjiangwancheng subdistrict has always been committed to the dissemination of chinese culture. it holds the qingming kite festival, chinese poetry competition, lantern festival, dragon boat festival, mid-autumn festival and other series of activities every year, and has built an intangible cultural heritage exhibition hall. two projects, kites and dough sculptures, have won the title of shanghai intangible cultural heritage. at the event, leaders of intangible cultural heritage such as the kite association, chinese studies, dough sculptures, and tiger-head shoes were awarded certificates of inheritors of chinese culture. douyin group shanghai company, nike sports (china) co., ltd., shanghai warm die network technology co., ltd., and tongji university's "panda talk" team were awarded certificates of recommended units for chinese culture. xinjiangwancheng spiritual civilization propagandists were awarded certificates, and the xinjiangwancheng subdistrict chinese culture propaganda point was unveiled.
it is reported that as an "international, intelligent, humanized, and rule-of-law" community, xinjiangwancheng street will fully link up with bilibili, douyin and other local resources, carry out extensive cultural exchange activities, and demonstrate and share experience in improving the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage, promoting cultural exchanges and mutual learning, and enhancing cultural consensus.
