in accordance with the "people's air defense law of the people's republic of china" and the "interim provisions on the test sounding of people's air defense alarms in the xinjiang uygur autonomous region", in order to strengthen national defense education and publicity, improve the people's national defense concepts, enhance the people's air defense awareness, and test the performance of air defense alarm equipment, the people's government of the xinjiang uygur autonomous region plans to uniformly test the air defense alarms in key cities in the region at 12:00 on september 18, 2024. the relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
1. air defense alarm test time
september 18, 2024, 12:00 am to 12:19 pm
2. types of air defense alarm tests
pre-alarm: sound for 36 seconds, stop for 24 seconds, repeat 3 times for one cycle (time is 3 minutes);
air raid alarm: sound for 6 seconds, stop for 6 seconds, repeat 15 times as a cycle (time is 3 minutes);
clear alarm: sound continuously for 3 minutes.
each alarm has an interval of 5 minutes.
3. air defense alarm test range
urumqi, changji, kuitun, karamay, yining, korla, tacheng, hami, turpan, aksu, kashgar, bole, hotan, atushi, altay, and usu.
