since 2021, "normalization of crackdown on gangsters and evil" has been written into the government work report, the 14th five-year plan and the outline of the 2035 vision goals, the report of the 20th national congress of the communist party of china, and the "decision of the central committee of the communist party of china on further comprehensively deepening reforms and promoting chinese-style modernization" adopted at the third plenary session of the 20th central committee of the communist party of china.

at the same time, disciplinary inspection and supervision organs across the country filed and investigated 89,742 cases of corruption and "protective umbrellas" involving gangs and evil forces, filed cases against 115,913 people, imposed party discipline and administrative sanctions on 80,649 people, and transferred 10,342 people to judicial organs.

second, a new round of central supervision is about to begin.

central supervision is a sharp sword to promote the work of cracking down on gangsters and eliminating evil.

from july 2018 to june 2019, the 1st to 21st central anti-gangster supervision groups were stationed in provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities across the country in three rounds, achieving full coverage. according to cctv news, during the three rounds of central supervision, the central anti-gangster supervision group collected more than 640,000 clues from public reports, directly promoting the elimination of 235 gangs and 2,515 criminal gangs.

after the central supervision was completed, supervision "look back" and special supervision were launched successively.

in april 2019, the 20th central anti-gangster and anti-evil supervision group entered yunnan and listed the "death penalty but not death" case of sun xiaoguo as the no. 1 supervision case. when reporting the supervision situation to yunnan province, the supervision group also listened to the report on the sun xiaoguo case and asked the yunnan provincial party committee to organize capable forces to severely punish and thoroughly investigate the case in accordance with the law to make it a solid case.

during the pre-trip training, chen wenqing emphasized four requirements:
