us media recently reported that russia has dispatched su-57 stealth fighters to attack more than 40 targets in ukraine.
the article quoted a ukrainian air force official as saying that previously, the su-57 only occasionally participated in combat, but now the intensity and frequency of its use have increased significantly.

wei dongxu, editor-in-chief of global military report, global information broadcast of china central radio and televisionanalysts believe that when participating in special military operations, the su-57 mainly performs bombing missions.
the russian aerospace forces mainly utilize the stealth advantage of the su-57 fighter, allowing the fighter to carry some precision-guided munitions and small cruise missiles to attack the opponent's heavily defended high-value ground targets.
during use, its cost is much cheaper than general tactical missiles and advanced cruise missiles, because the su-57 fighter can fly repeatedly, and the cost of ammunition in the built-in magazine is also controllable.

wei dongxu further explained that there are several factors behind the increasing number of missions participated by the su-57 stealth fighter.
first, the russian aerospace forces may have received more su-57 stealth fighters and used special military operations to conduct actual combat training to test the combat capability, penetration capability and stealth performance of the stealth fighters.
second, the russian military sent a large number of su-57 stealth fighters to participate in the mission because they can avoid the opponent's air defense firepower to the greatest extent during the ground bombing mission. compared with the su-34 fighter and other non-stealth fighters, the su-57 has a stronger battlefield survivability.
third, it is not ruled out that after the su-57 flies to the relevant airspace, it will conduct aerial hunting of some older models of ukrainian fighter jets in order to achieve air combat results.
