according to the case information released by the macau police, the public security police received a report from a female middle school student at around 18:00 on september 9, claiming that when she was waiting for a bus at the bus stop, a man holding a handbag approached her on the pretext of an excuse. her calf was touched by the handbag, and when she looked down, she found a mobile phone with the camera facing upwards in the other person's bag. she suspected that he was secretly photographing her. after being discovered, the man fled on the spot. the female party then called the police for help.

after investigation, the police identified the suspect and found him at the airport. they intercepted him at about 2:30 pm on september 10. during the investigation, the police found 30 videos suspected to be secretly filmed on the suspect's mobile phone, one of which was of the female high school student mentioned above.

the report said the suspect's surname is yamashita, he is a japanese man in his 50s, and he is a businessman. the suspect claimed that he had a habit of secretly taking photos and took photos everywhere after entering the country on september 7. the macau police charged him with intrusion into private life and transferred him to the procuratorate for follow-up.
