crude oil production has grown steadily.in august, the output of industrial crude oil in designated size was 17.83 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%; the average daily output was 575,000 tons. imported crude oil was 49.10 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 7.0%. from january to august, the output of industrial crude oil in designated size was 142.79 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%. imported crude oil was 366.91 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 3.1%. crude oil processing has declined. in august, the processing volume of industrial crude oil in designated size was 59.07 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 6.2%; the average daily processing volume was 1.905 million tons. from january to august, the processing volume of industrial crude oil in designated size was 472.53 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.2%.
natural gas production accelerated.in august, the industrial natural gas output above designated size was 20 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 9.4%, 1.5 percentage points faster than in july; the average daily output was 650 million cubic meters. imported natural gas was 11.76 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 9.1%. from january to august, the industrial natural gas output above designated size was 163.7 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%. imported natural gas was 87.13 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.3%.
electricity production has accelerated.in august, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size was 907.4 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%, 3.3 percentage points faster than that in july; the average daily power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size was 29.27 billion kwh. from january to august, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size was 623.79 billion kwh, a year-on-year increase of 5.1%.
