on september 13, two satellite emergency communication vehicles and a support vehicle from chongqing traveled thousands of miles all the way to hainan. after joining the six transmission optical cable rescue teams and power experts who had arrived earlier, the team immediately started the communication support work.
it is understood that this year's 11th typhoon "makar" made a strong landfall in wenchang, hainan on september 6, causing serious damage to the local communication infrastructure. in order to help the people resume normal production and living order as soon as possible, china mobile communications group chongqing co., ltd. (hereinafter referred to as chongqing mobile) took prompt action and formed the "hainan emergency guarantee" hongyan pioneer team to fully support hainan's disaster relief and communication restoration work.
on september 8, the first batch of support forces, consisting of two transmission optical cable rescue teams, rushed to the disaster area in hainan with emergency equipment and materials such as fusion splicers and optical time domain reflectometers; on september 9, a transport convoy loaded with 20 emergency oil engines set off smoothly; on september 10, four transmission optical cable rescue teams and two power experts, carrying satellite portable bags, satellite phones and other emergency equipment, also set off towards hainan...
at the rescue site, the rescue team members of chongqing mobile overcame numerous difficulties and worked day and night. in some transmission rooms in meilan district, haikou city, the iron-lithium batteries automatically entered the protection state due to long-term deep discharge. seeing this, the rescue team members acted decisively, removed the iron-lithium battery control board, and used the dc power supply in the site to directly charge the battery cells. after reducing the voltage difference between the iron-lithium battery and the switching power supply system, they restored the switching power supply to charge it in an automatic equalization manner.
