this south american country will build its first large-scale basic chemical project

in the vast land of south america, bolivia is ushering in a new era of chemical industry development. recently, with the cooperation between donghua technology, a subsidiary of china national chemical corporation, and the bolivian public production enterprise development service bureau, the bolivian ibq basic chemical project officially kicked off. this is the first large-scale basic chemical project in bolivia's history and the largest project currently undertaken by china national chemical corporation in south america.

the project is located in uyuni, doce province, bolivia. the construction content includes four factories including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, sodium hydroxide, calcium hydroxide, and sodium carbonate, as well as park infrastructure and public engineering supporting facilities. donghua technology is mainly responsible for the research, design, procurement, construction and trial operation of the project, and uses this as a platform to promote the use of chinese technology, chinese standards and chinese equipment. after the project is completed, it will fill many gaps in local basic chemical products, which is of great significance to improving bolivia's national industrial production capacity, enhancing international market competitiveness, creating more jobs, and promoting economic and social development.
