on the morning of september 11, an environmental protection concept expansion patriotism education activity with the theme of "welcome the green world with your heart, protect our country's borders with your hands" was successfully held. the event was jointly organized by the women's federation of nanxing street, shangcheng district, hangzhou city, zhejiang province, the west lake water area management office, hangzhou city, zhejiang province, and the party and mass service centers of fuxing south community, zihuabu community, and meizhengqiao community in shangcheng district, hangzhou city, zhejiang province, and the women's federation of fuxing street community and the women's federation of zihuabu community.
through this series of activities, more people in society will be aware of the importance of environmental protection and integrate it into their daily lives, so as to contribute to protecting the beautiful hangzhou and beautifying the west lake scenic area. in this series of activities, 15 groups of parent-child families from communities under nanxing street, shangcheng district, entered the garbage classification classroom to learn how to reduce food waste and recycle waste. they also experienced patriotism education and deepened their feelings for their country.
in the experience session of the activity, the children wore team uniforms, some played the role of "pilots" and some played the role of "tank drivers", experiencing the fun of flying and driving in the simulated cockpit, and feeling the honor and responsibility of national defense soldiers. through this activity, the parent-child families not only realized the importance and necessity of garbage classification, but also learned how to develop good garbage classification habits in daily life. parents said that such activities not only let the children learn knowledge, but also let them understand the sense of responsibility and mission as citizens. the children also felt the fun of environmental protection in the activities, and expressed that they would actively practice garbage classification in life and contribute their own strength to protecting the earth's home.
