in order to further enhance children's awareness of traffic safety, hefeng kindergarten in xinwu district, wuxi city invited the local motorcycle team to enter the campus and brought a vivid and practical safety education activity to the children.
the event kicked off amid the children's anticipation. the iron horse team members, dressed in neat uniforms, rode their majestic motorcycles slowly into the kindergarten, instantly attracting the attention of all the children.
the iron horse team members explained to the children the importance of "one helmet and one belt" with friendly language and vivid examples. "one helmet" refers to the safety helmet worn when riding, which can protect the head from injury at critical moments; "one belt" refers to fastening the seat belt when riding, which is an important measure to prevent passengers from being injured when the vehicle brakes suddenly or collides. in order to help the children better understand, the team members also demonstrated different types of safety helmets and invited the children to try them on and experience their functions firsthand.
then, the team members started to demonstrate the traffic police's hand signals, from stop, go straight, turn left to turn right, each of which was accompanied by a clear explanation. the children stared with wide eyes, watching attentively, and some couldn't help but imitate them. encouraged by the team members, several brave children stood in front of the team and tried to imitate the traffic police's hand signals. although their movements were a little immature, their seriousness and dedication won the applause of everyone present.
