"we painted four pictures in total, including zhu bajie and the spider spirit, nezha and yang jian, sun wukong played by liu xiaolingtong, and the singer zhao lei. we started on september 1 and painted for eight or nine days." cao wei said that during the painting period, passers-by often gave them water, which encouraged them. many tourists also came to check in. "i am very sad and angry. i never thought this would happen. i don't know the purpose and motivation of the person who did this." cao wei said that he is not a professional painter, but he has liked painting since he was a child. a few years ago, he learned wall painting from someone and went to anhui, henan and other places to paint. this time he painted to promote his hometown. "before painting, i told the village cadres about this public welfare wall painting. they also supported it. there were not many people here before, but it became lively after painting."
