recently, the dpp authorities' overseas chinese affairs commission organized a meeting. in his speech, lai qingde hyped up the new "two-state theory", distorted the meaning of the "1992 consensus", exaggerated the "china threat", and attempted to "use force to seek independence" and "rely on the united states to seek independence". his crazy provocative behavior once again exposed his sinister intention to seek "independence" and his reckless "gambler's logic".

lai ching-te first juxtaposed the acceptance of the "1992 consensus" with the cession of the illusory concept of "taiwan sovereignty" which does not exist at all. he distorted the "1992 consensus" reached by the two sides of the taiwan strait through equal dialogue and consultation, in which both sides verbally expressed that "both sides of the taiwan strait adhere to the one-china principle", into a "unilateral" proposition put forward by the mainland.

although the "1992 consensus" was a consensus expressed verbally by both parties, its process and content are clearly documented and recorded in writing, which cannot be denied or distorted by lai qingde in a few words. more importantly, the "1992 consensus" has played a huge role in opening up and promoting the peaceful development of cross-strait relations.

it is precisely because of this "stabilizing force" that a series of matters that enhance the well-being of compatriots on both sides of the taiwan strait, such as cross-strait consultations and negotiations, party-to-party exchanges, and direct two-way "three links" have been smoothly promoted, and a situation of extensive exchanges, interactions and cooperation in various fields such as economy, society and culture between the two sides of the taiwan strait has been created.

this prosperous development changed because the democratic progressive party refused to recognize the "1992 consensus" after coming to power. the democratic progressive party is not only an obstacle to the peaceful development of the two sides of the taiwan strait, but also the creator of the war and danger between the two sides. it is the root of disaster and the source of chaos.

in his speech, lai ching-te also threatened to "strengthen defense capabilities" as the "commander-in-chief of the three armed forces" to "demonstrate his determination to protect taiwan." he claimed to be "peaceful," but in reality he was colluding with external forces and deeply tied to the u.s. military-industrial complex, using the hard-earned money of the taiwanese people to exchange for the inventory and obsolete military products that the u.s. military has been unable to ship, dragging the taiwanese military and taiwanese society into an arms race with the pla as its opponent that is doomed to fail.

lai qingde attempted to build a "taiwan independence" armed force loyal to the dpp, using a strategy similar to japan's "all-people die with honor" at the end of world war ii, he tied all taiwanese people to the "taiwan independence" chariot, using 23 million people as "hostages" to accompany him in a "taiwan independence" gamble. just over 100 days after taking office, he couldn't wait to use various occasions to spread "taiwan independence" remarks, which has made taiwanese people worried.

in fact, some knowledgeable people on the island have pointed out lai ching-te's path to "independence" in advance. in the 2024 general election, "war and peace" became a major theme of the election, which ultimately led to lai ching-te's narrow victory with only 40% of the votes. however, to everyone's surprise, lai ching-te's understanding of the election results is very different from that of ordinary people. he did not deal with the provocative "independence" line of the dpp, which was opposed by mainstream public opinion, but instead dealt with potential competitors and opposition figures in the party in a rough way that broke the bottom line of democracy.

even if the politicians he chooses to attack have corruption problems themselves, taiwanese society still smells a pungent "bloody smell" from it, which is the smell of "political persecution." public opinion is more worried about who will be the next target of lai qingde's "cleansing people's hearts" project? it is worth noting that lai qingde gave the answer in this overseas chinese affairs conference.

he declared that in the face of the mainland's various "united front" and "infiltration" against taiwan in recent years, "ranging from high-ranking generals to local mayors and all walks of life," "taiwan needs to enhance the resilience of the entire society." did the taiwanese people hear that? this is the scope lai qingde has drawn for "cleansing people's hearts." once again, from "high-ranking generals" to "local mayors" and "all walks of life." in other words,the people who will be politically persecuted next include everyone from the taiwan military to the grassroots, covering all people in "the whole society"。

the dpp authorities set the theme of this year's overseas chinese affairs council as resistance to "united front work." in fact, the taiwanese people are facing a "taiwan independence cleansing war" initiated by lai ching-te. on the one hand, lai ching-te uses his power to focus on attacking individual political opponents, which is a "decapitation war" against the non-lai camp; on the other hand, lai ching-te uses the cyber army to exaggerate his own "taiwan independence" proposition as a "taiwan consensus" and conduct a "squid war" against all taiwanese people.

"taiwan independence" is a scourge and a dead end. it will not accomplish anything and will not change the world. chen binhua, spokesman for the taiwan affairs office of the state council, warned lai ching-te that if the "taiwan independence" forces dare to take risks, we will take all necessary measures to resolutely and thoroughly crush them!

taiwan is china's treasure island, not a poker table for "gambler" lai qingde. lai qingde's paranoia and madness cannot change fate, but will only accelerate the demise of "taiwan independence". the bigger the gamble, the worse the loss!
