in order to implement the decisions and arrangements of the third plenary session of the 20th cpc central committee and the work requirements of the central cyberspace affairs office, and to help the implementation of the "several measures for guangdong province to empower thousands of industries with artificial intelligence", the "greater bay area generative artificial intelligence security development joint laboratory" jointly initiated and organized by the cyberspace affairs office of the cpc guangdong provincial committee and the guangdong branch of the national internet emergency center was officially established at the 2024 national cybersecurity publicity week guangdong-hong kong-macao greater bay area security technology innovation symposium. huawei, tencent, sun yat-sen university, the cyberspace affairs office of the guangzhou municipal committee, the cyberspace affairs office of the shenzhen municipal committee, the cyberspace affairs office of the dongguan municipal committee, and the shenzhen hetao development agency will jointly participate in the construction of the "joint laboratory".
the "joint laboratory" will be under the direct leadership of the provincial party committee's cyberspace administration, closely relying on the comprehensive empowerment of the national internet emergency center, led by the guangdong branch of the national internet emergency center, and strongly supported by local cyberspace administration and other relevant departments, giving full play to the core engine and radiation leading role of huawei and tencent in artificial intelligence and the deep scientific research accumulation of sun yat-sen university in security, trustworthiness and quantitative rating, and focusing on promoting capacity building in six aspects. first, build a localized "generative artificial intelligence security assessment system"; second, form a set of local "generative artificial intelligence security development standards"; third, train a large model security intelligent assessment engine; fourth, run a set of "platform automation + expert team review" operation methods; fifth, study a set of "security and trustworthiness + quantitative rating" service industry framework; sixth, explore a set of "co-construction and sharing + two-way empowerment" to promote development and support new supervision models.
