xinhua news agency, hohhot, september 11 (reporter an luming) the inner mongolia autonomous region department of commerce, development and reform commission and other six departments recently jointly issued the "inner mongolia autonomous region automobile trade-in implementation rules", which will increase financial support, increase the subsidy standards for automobile scrapping and replacement, and strive to stabilize and expand automobile consumption.
according to the implementation rules, in terms of car scrapping and renewal, individual consumers who scrap their own fuel passenger cars with national iii emission standards or below, or scrap new energy passenger cars registered before april 30, 2018, and purchase new energy passenger cars can apply for a subsidy of 20,000 yuan per vehicle; for scrapping fuel passenger cars with national iii emission standards or below, and purchasing fuel passenger cars with 2.0l (inclusive) emission standards or below, they can apply for a subsidy of 15,000 yuan per vehicle.
in terms of car replacement and renewal, individual consumers who transfer their fuel or new energy passenger cars and purchase new passenger cars in the autonomous region can apply for a one-time car purchase subsidy. according to the amount of the purchase invoice, the subsidy for new energy passenger cars is 18,000 yuan, 16,000 yuan, and 14,000 yuan; the subsidy for fuel passenger cars is 15,000 yuan, 13,000 yuan, and 11,000 yuan.
a relevant person in charge from the department of commerce of the inner mongolia autonomous region introduced that in terms of financial guarantee, the national development and reform commission has arranged ultra-long-term treasury bond funds to support local governments in improving their ability to trade in old consumer goods for new ones. among them, the subsidy funds for trade-in of old cars are shared by the central government and the inner mongolia autonomous region at the same level according to the principle of 9.5:0.5. the autonomous region development and reform commission will work with the department of finance to allocate funds to each league and city based on actual conditions.
inner mongolia has also clarified the process of car replacement and renewal subsidies. eligible individual consumers can log in to the inner mongolia autonomous region government subsidy mini program on the cloud quickpass app and fill in the subsidy application materials. the commerce, public security, taxation, and industry and information technology departments of each league and city will compare and review the application information through the platform. after the review is passed, the commerce departments of each league and city will promptly transfer the funds to consumers.
