as a time-honored brand in the industry, yingli is one of the earliest companies to enter the photovoltaic industry in china. for 26 years, yingli has always focused on photovoltaic intelligent manufacturing. in 2021, yingli became a state-owned enterprise controlled by the baoding state-owned assets supervision and administration commission. after completing the reorganization, yingli's market performance was strong. in 2022, it returned to the first-tier component manufacturer sequence, and in 2023, it returned to the top ten rankings of photovoltaic component shipments and winning bids. in the first half of 2024, the winning bids ranked ninth in the industry. today, yingli is actively contributing to the development of new quality productivity, and yingli also has its own experience in deepening power market reform and building a new power system.


as early as 2014, yingli undertook the national 863 project "research and integrated demonstration of key technologies for smart microgrids in industrial parks", and proposed yingli's solution to improve the intervention capability of distributed photovoltaics and the quality of grid-connected power through the research of smart microgrid technology. in 2020, the xiong'an high-speed railway station power grid, which used yingli's high-efficiency components, obtained the first batch of green certificates issued by the national energy administration in december 2023, setting an example for the first batch of green certificate transactions in china.


in exploring the path of power market reform, we are also constantly thinking about how to accelerate the construction of a new power system. in addition to battery technology and material costs, are there more solutions and ideas? we found a keyword, called the construction of a smart energy ecosystem, that is, adhering to the system concept, from the full ecological cycle, the whole chain dimension, through various intelligent means to provide the power market with more economical and higher-quality green electricity. from the perspective of the development trend of the entire industry, the photovoltaic industry has experienced extensive development in the pre-subsidy era, and later entered an era of efficient technology explosion led by innovation. today, with the popularization of technologies such as digital technology and artificial intelligence, the industry has officially entered the era of intelligence. intelligence includes four aspects: intelligent production, intelligent products, intelligent systems, and intelligent operations.


intelligent production is very common in production lines. yingli has adopted intelligent production lines in all parks, realizing automation from testing to logistics and distribution, and continuously increasing the proportion of green electricity consumption to reduce energy consumption. in 2021, yingli released a carbon neutrality white paper and was one of the first companies to publish a carbon neutrality announcement, making smart, efficient and green throughout the entire manufacturing process.


intelligent products. system-friendly new energy power stations have higher requirements for the performance and system adaptation of photovoltaic products. in various application scenarios, photovoltaic modules should provide efficient, safe and high-quality electricity. the industry has also explored this aspect. for example, yingli's products can match the photovoltaic storage system more efficiently and intelligently, improving overall efficiency and power generation.


system intelligence. that is, more efficient and intelligent matching between the various parts of the photovoltaic system itself is particularly important at present. as the most important component of the photovoltaic system, photovoltaic modules have occupied almost all the attention of the industry. with the addition of energy storage, the cost of photovoltaic modules in the construction of integrated photovoltaic and energy storage has accounted for nearly 10%. in this case, the industry has shifted its focus from photovoltaic modules to the system. system intelligence will be fully reflected in all aspects of system design and installation. early intelligent design can simulate different performances through advanced algorithms and technical intelligent design software to find the best layout plan.


intelligent operation. intelligent operation and maintenance of power stations has become common. for example, the xiongan high-speed railway station uses a visualization system that integrates cloud computing, big data, the internet of things, artificial intelligence and other technologies. by modeling, operating and monitoring high-speed railway station products, each link is digitized, and a digital twin scene of photovoltaic power generation is built, which effectively improves the quality of electricity and lays the foundation for the xiongan high-speed railway station to obtain the first batch of green certificates in the country.


the grid-connected mode is also more intelligent, smart and flexible. for example, smart microgrid technology can effectively alleviate the indirectness and volatility of distributed power sources under the current consumption dilemma and improve the quality of grid-connected power. the national 863 project project "research and integrated demonstration of key technologies for park smart microgrids" led by yingli has made research and demonstration of smart microgrids from two application scenarios: industrial parks and residential parks. at the same time, it has studied the control strategy operation mode measurement of distributed photovoltaic plus energy storage smart microgrid systems. in short, the full ecological intelligent upgrade from production to operation is driven by the general trend of the photovoltaic industry and even the electric energy industry.
