red net time news september 12th(correspondent yuan jianwen) in the china international aircraft design challenge (cadc) held from september 6 to 8, zhuzhou nanfang middle school selected four students from class 2303, qiao mingzhe, class 2309, chen zhiyuan, class 2309, long sicheng, class 2309, and xie wangze, class 2318 to form a team to participate. after fierce competition, the nanfang middle school team won the national championship in the two-on-two air combat team competition.
the competition is jointly organized by the aviation radio model sports management center of the state sports general administration, the china aviation sports association, the china university sports association, the hunan provincial sports bureau and the hengyang municipal people's government. it aims to promote the development of aviation sports in my country and inspire young students' enthusiasm for aviation technology. as the only innovative competition in my country that integrates aircraft design, manufacturing, flight and control, cadc not only provides a platform for college and high school students across the country to showcase their innovative talents, but has also become one of the world's three major university student aircraft design competitions, on par with the american international aviation design competition and the european university student model load challenge.
there are 8 competitions in this competition, covering many aspects of aircraft design, fully testing the theoretical knowledge and practical ability of the participants. 30 teams from beijing, guangdong, zhejiang, shaanxi, sichuan, hubei, anhui, chongqing, hunan and other places, nearly 300 athletes and coaches gathered together to compete.
this competition not only provides a platform for students of nanfang middle school to compete in technology, show themselves, exchange and learn, but also further inspires their love and pursuit of aerospace. nanfang middle school will take this award as an opportunity to further promote model aircraft education, cultivate more talents with innovative spirit and practical ability, and contribute nanfang middle school's strength to my country's aerospace industry.
