six specific measures to continuously promote high-quality development
not long ago, pinduoduo reduced the technical service fee for orders under the use-now, pay-later promotion to 40% off, and now it has been further expanded to all use-now, pay-later orders. while merchants can enjoy the innovative use-now, pay-later service, their operating costs are further reduced.
since mid-august to date, pinduoduo has launched a number of tax relief measures as part of its "10 billion yuan tax relief" program, continuously pushing the platform and agricultural production areas and industrial belts towards high-quality development.
the specific measures involve six aspects: first, for product orders generated by merchants participating in on-site activities, after users initiate a refund, the platform will fully refund the merchant a 0.6% technical service fee; second, the pay-later technical service fee is reduced to 0.6%, and is expanded from pay-later activity orders to all orders; third, the refund rights for promotion service fees are opened. for orders that consumers refund in full before delivery, the merchant's promotion software service fee will be automatically returned in the form of a red envelope, and the merchant does not need to file a complaint; fourth, the basic store deposit is reduced from 1,000 yuan to 500 yuan, and the first batch has covered 70 categories; fifth, a green channel is opened, a special after-sales service team is established, the merchant after-sales service system is upgraded, and merchants are fully supported to file complaints against abnormal orders, malicious complaint orders, and consumer negative experience orders. after the merchant's complaint is successful, the platform will compensate for the relevant orders, and the number of complaints by the merchant will no longer be limited; sixth, merchants are exempted from logistics transit fees in remote areas. merchants only need to send orders to transit warehouses, and the logistics transit fees for the second shipment from transit warehouses to remote areas such as xinjiang will be borne by the platform.
many businesses have benefited
at present, many merchants have benefited from pinduoduo's package of relief policies. a herbal tea merchant noticed that since august 27, the store backend has received promotion fees refunded by the platform, with an average of more than 1,000 yuan in red envelopes returned every day. if this rate continues, the amount of red envelopes returned in a year will be nearly 400,000 yuan.
among the merchant's daily orders, orders from remote areas such as xinjiang and inner mongolia account for nearly 10%, and the platform's practice of exempting logistics transit fees has also benefited it greatly.
"in the past, we sent goods directly to xinjiang and other regions through express delivery companies, and the express delivery fee was as high as 18 yuan per kilogram. now we only need to send the goods to the transit warehouse in xi'an, and the subsequent costs are borne by the platform. the express delivery unit price is only two yuan per kilogram." the above-mentioned merchant said that now not only can they save a lot of money, but it will also greatly expand the customer base in remote areas and bring new development opportunities for local herbal tea.
