in september 2022, beijing no. 5 experimental school started operation. lin xuefang, the school's junior high school teaching director, said that although the school was operating at a borrowed location and the conditions were difficult, the teachers completed the construction of campus culture in a short period of time, and the high-quality teaching quickly won praise from parents. at present, there are about 1,000 students in the new campus.
beijing no. 5 experimental school is planned to have three locations. in addition to the zhongguancun science park campus in fengtai district which has just been put into use, the other two campuses are located in the lize financial business district in fengtai district and are under preparation and construction.
in order to expand the radiation of high-quality educational resources, beijing no. 5 experimental school education group was established. the group has already started to explore resource sharing. this year, two first-year students of fengtai no. 8 middle school, a member school, were jointly trained by beijing no. 5 experimental school and fengtai no. 8 middle school. in the future, the group will also focus on the advantages of talents and resources to carry out experiments in the cultivation of top innovative talents in the group.
