some imported x6 vehicles with production dates between february 23, 2023 and june 6, 2024, totaling 4,282 units;

16,965 imported x7 vehicles with production dates between july 14, 2022 and june 12, 2024;

some imported xm vehicles with production dates from june 6, 2022 to april 18, 2024, totaling 461 units;

2,470 imported 5 series vehicles with production dates between october 17, 2023 and june 7, 2024;

24,115 imported 7 series vehicles with production dates between june 13, 2022 and june 12, 2024;

4,441 imported x2 vehicles with production dates between november 3, 2023 and june 3, 2024;

251 imported mini jcw countryman vehicles with production dates between march 1, 2024 and june 10, 2024;

a total of 76 imported rolls-royce shining cars with production dates from august 10, 2023 to april 8, 2024.

(ii) bmw brilliance automotive ltd.:

some domestically produced x5 vehicles with production dates between february 22, 2023 and august 29, 2024, totaling 95,314 units;

some domestically produced 5 series vehicles with production dates between august 15, 2023 and august 29, 2024, totaling 83,287 units;

a total of 125,901 domestically produced x1 vehicles with production dates from november 7, 2022 to august 30, 2024.

(iii) guangshou automotive co., ltd.:

5,552 domestically produced mini cooper vehicles with production dates between june 1, 2024 and august 30, 2024;

a total of 2,682 domestically produced mini aceman vehicles with production dates from june 24, 2024 to august 30, 2024.

due to manufacturing reasons, the electrical signals of the motor position sensor of the integrated brake booster (dsci) of some vehicles within the scope of this recall are interfered with, which may cause the dsci to be unable to provide auxiliary braking, affecting the functions of the anti-lock braking system (abs) and dynamic stability control system (dsc), posing a safety hazard.

bmw (china) automobile trading co., ltd., bmw brilliance automotive co., ltd. and lightbeam automotive co., ltd. will use the vehicle remote upgrade (ota) technology to upgrade the software for vehicles within the recall scope for free. the software can monitor the potential risks of dsci and send out early warning information through the vehicle computer system, prompting users to return to the store to replace dsci parts for free to eliminate safety hazards. for vehicles that cannot be upgraded through ota, users can go to the store to implement the recall for free.

this recall activity is to change the recall measures of the "recall of some domestic and imported bmw vehicles by bmw brilliance automotive ltd. and bmw (china) automobile trading co., ltd." issued on march 29, 2024, and expand the recall scope.
