also present at the ceremony were senior representatives from china media group, la liga and medipro group. qi zhuquan, member of the editorial committee and director of the international exchange bureau of china media group, liang jianzeng, director of the editorial office of china media group, xu qiang, director of the sports and youth program center, and ma zheng, deputy director of the sports and youth center. sergi torrents, executive director of la liga greater china, leticia de zuloaga, global pr and communications director, tatxo benet, chairman and co-founder of medipro group, and pilar jimenez, ceo of asia, also attended the event.

it is worth mentioning that the signing of this cooperation agreement coincides with the official state visit of spanish prime minister pedro sánchez to china, and la liga was invited as part of the spanish prime minister's delegation to china. on september 9, la liga president javier tebas, along with other important chinese and spanish business leaders, attended a lunch meeting with premier li qiang. on the same day, javier tebas also attended a meeting of the china-spain business advisory council, an organization established in 2018 and of which la liga is one of the founding members, together with spanish prime minister pedro sánchez and chinese minister of commerce wang wentao.

the signing ceremony also benefited from the memorandum of cooperation signed in july 2024 when director shen haixiong led a delegation to visit the la liga headquarters in madrid. the memorandum of cooperation also laid the foundation for closer cooperation between china media group and la liga.
