on september 11, the china enterprise confederation and the china entrepreneur association held the 2024 china top 500 enterprises summit forum in tianjin and released the 2024 china top 500 enterprises list. at the same time, the meeting also released a number of sub-lists such as the 2024 china top 500 service enterprises list. among them, 10 chongqing companies were listed in the 2024 china top 500 enterprises, and two of them were "new faces".
it is reported that this time the china enterprise confederation has referred to international practices and used the 2023 business operating income of companies as the qualifying criteria. this is the 23rd consecutive year that it has publicly released the list of china's top 500 companies to the public.

compared with 2023, among the "old faces" selected in the top 500 chinese companies, chongqing xinoupeng enterprise (group) co., ltd. ranked 427th, up 47 places from the previous year; chongqing pharmaceutical holding co., ltd. ranked 306th, up 34 places from the previous year; jinlong precision copper tube group co., ltd. ranked 453rd, up 33 places from the previous year; chongqing chemical and pharmaceutical holding (group) co., ltd. ranked 259th, up 18 places from the previous year; chongqing xiaokang holding co., ltd. ranked 460th, up 1 place from the previous year.
in addition, 17 chongqing companies were selected as the top 500 chinese service enterprises in 2024, namely longfor group, chongqing pharmaceutical holdings, xinoupeng group, qianxin group, rural commercial bank of china, huayu group, south china materials, expressway, logistics group, mashang consumer finance, sasseur group, wanyou automobile investment, bank of chongqing, three gorges bank, ophis group, changan minsheng logistics, and haicheng industrial. among them, logistics group, changan minsheng logistics, and haicheng industrial are "new faces".
among the top 500 service industry enterprises, the rankings of many chongqing enterprises have risen compared with last year. among them, mashang consumer finance ranked the largest, up 91 places to 272nd; three gorges bank ranked 380th, up 41 places from last year; sasseur ranked 272nd, up 33 places from last year; wanyou automobile ranked 296th, up 31 places from last year; chongqing pharmaceutical holdings ranked 103rd, up 10 places from last year; new oupu group ranked 147th, up 9 places from last year; ophir group ranked 481st, up 7 places from last year; and bank of chongqing ranked 363rd, up 2 places from last year.
in addition, chongqing zhifei bio was selected as one of the top 100 leading enterprises in china's strategic emerging industries in 2024, ranking 79th.
zhou xun, secretary of the party committee of the chongqing federation of enterprises, said that in this year's list of china's top 500 enterprises, the number of chongqing enterprises selected ranks among the top western provinces and cities, indicating that chongqing enterprises are based on the overall situation of china's modernization to pursue reform and development, actively participate in the "three tough battles and one revitalization" reform practice, further enhance their innovation capabilities, and demonstrate strong development resilience, contributing to promoting the high-quality economic development of our city.
