military facilities refer to buildings, sites and equipment used directly by the state for military purposes. there are six common types of military facilities: underground and underground command projects; military airports; barracks, training grounds, and test sites; military caves and warehouses; military information infrastructure; and military roads and railway lines.
protecting military facilities is of great significance for consolidating national defense, building a strong military, and maintaining national security. in 2021, the "law of the people's republic of china on the protection of military facilities" was newly revised to further improve the protection of military facilities and ensure the smooth progress of military struggle preparations.
all levels of zibo city attach great importance to the protection of military facilities, and have established a military-civilian coordination mechanism for the protection of military facilities in zibo city, and a leading group for the protection of military facilities. people's governments and military agencies at all levels have established a military facility protection work pattern in which the military and the local governments are responsible for their respective duties and work closely together. this year, in accordance with the requirements of the superiors, the joint office of the national defense mobilization committee of zibo city coordinated the relevant military and local departments to conduct a special investigation and rectification of the protection of military facilities in the nine districts and counties and three functional areas of zibo city, and properly resolved relevant issues in accordance with laws and regulations.
in the next step, zibo city will continue to do a good job in protecting military facilities in accordance with the requirements of the national and provincial national mobilization commission.
