as one of the important activities of the global energy transformation conference, the 2024 energy valley construction and development conference opened in the energy valley of future science city, changping district on the afternoon of september 8. at the conference, changping district focused on key tracks such as hydrogen energy, energy storage, wind power and photovoltaics, supported the complementary advantages of central enterprises, private enterprises and new r&d institutions, brought together a number of high-quality projects, and signed 8 major projects on site.

the unveiling ceremony of two major innovation platforms, beijing new energy storage demonstration zone and beijing future science city digital power science and technology innovation center, was also held on site. changping district regards new energy storage as a key track, focusing on the linkage of industry, academia and research, tackling economic problems in r&d, and paying attention to the extension and supplement of the industrial chain. relying on first-class universities in the energy field, it has built two national-level energy storage technology industry-education integration innovation platforms to create beijing's new energy storage demonstration zone. beijing future science city digital power science and technology innovation center is an innovation platform jointly established by beijing future science city management committee, huawei power digital corps and chinasoft international. it integrates technology display, r&d, office and communication and cooperation functions, and is committed to becoming an innovation source in the field of new digital power, focusing on promoting the intelligent transformation of the power industry.
the beijing future science city advanced energy industry investment fund was also announced to be launched at the meeting. it was established and managed by beijing changping science park development group co., ltd. and is aimed at six advanced energy industry tracks such as energy internet, hydrogen energy, and energy storage. through direct investment in mid- and late-stage projects with technology-driven development as the core, it will coordinate and support beijing's municipal-level big fund investment introduction and investment support work, do a good job in the linkage of funds at the municipal and district levels, strengthen the attraction of industry leaders and leading enterprises, and support and help the high-quality development of the industry.
