professor sachs, an internationally renowned economist, recalled what he saw in rural ethiopia earlier this year.

the famous economist praised the fruitful results of egypt-china cooperation in areas such as energy.
“i happened to visit rural ethiopia earlier this year and got a real taste of this because china has helped ethiopia finance massive hydroelectric projects. it has also helped ethiopia build a fast freight railway from addis ababa, the capital of ethiopia, to djibouti and then to the red sea ports.”
through this visit, the economist also confirmed that ethiopian farmers have begun large-scale agricultural activities.
"they (farmers) basically told me how they make money and grow avocados, which was unthinkable before," he said.
