other improvements and fixes

microsoft has added an option to minimize the number of processes when the photos app is running in the background to speed up the app's startup. if you don't want photos to run in the background, you can turn off the "performance" option under "settings".

users can quickly edit pictures in file explorer or on the desktop by right-clicking the picture and selecting edit in photos, which then opens the photo editor, where you can crop, rotate, or mark up the picture, as well as apply adjustments and ai-powered edits.
