momodou lamin first visited china in march last year, when he participated in the annual national people's congress and the chinese people's political consultative conference as a representative of gambian journalists. in april, momodou lamin, together with journalists from 28 other countries, visited changsha, yueyang, chenzhou and other places in hunan to collect folk stories. in june, momodou lamin visited hunan for the second time and was invited to report on the third china-africa economic and trade expo. in his spare time, he also visited shaoyang, xiangtan and other places.

"hunan is the first province i visited in china and the province i have visited the most. it holds a special place in my heart," said momodou lamin emotionally. "i am deeply impressed by hunan's scenery, culture, smart factories and the hospitality and friendliness of its people. of course, my favorite thing is hunan's food."
between his two visits to hunan, momodu lamin also visited many provinces including shaanxi, sichuan, zhejiang, etc., but he said that his favorite is still hunan.
the night before he left hunan, momodu lamin was also the night before he left china. feeling reluctant to leave, he thought about studying in hunan. "i am shocked by the scale and speed of agricultural development in hunan. i want to study agriculture-related majors in hunan and bring this advanced knowledge back to gambia."
a year has passed. due to various factors, momodu lamin has not yet come to hunan to study, but he has been following hunan's development trends on the other side of the atlantic.
