the 2024 freshmen have arrived. the school of insurance of shandong university of finance and economics has welcomed a freshman named xu qiming, who has officially become an alumnus of her grandfather. 60 years ago, xu qiming's grandfather xu xingyang studied at shandong university of finance and economics (the predecessor of shandong university of economics).

in 1964, xu qiming's grandfather was a student in the accounting department of shandong university of finance and economics. although he did not return to school on the day xu qiming registered due to health reasons, he still missed his alma mater very much and specifically asked xu qiming to take more photos of him so that he could see what the new campus of shandong university of finance and economics looks like now.
