the plot ratio of taipei jinghua city has increased dramatically. people's party chairman ko wen-je, weijing group chairman shen qingjing, kuomintang taipei city councillor ying hsiao-wei and others have been ordered to be detained and denied access to visitors by the taipei city district court (hereinafter referred to as "taipei district court"). the taipei district court stated on the 6th that ying hsiao-wei's lawyer filed an appeal, which was sent to the taiwan "high court" at 2:35 pm.

the procuratorate found that shen qingjing transferred nt$20 million and nt$25 million in two installments to ying xiaowei's association account through a subsidiary of the weijing group. ying xiaowei had withdrawn nt$5 million to deposit into her boyfriend wang zunkan's account and nt$3 million to repay a loan. her assistant chen jiamin also withdrew nt$2 million in cash from the association account and deposited it into ying xiaowei's account to pay for credit card fees.

the prosecution requested that ying xiaowei be detained. the taipei district court held that the time when ying xiaowei received the money coincided with the time when she petitioned the taipei city government for the jinghua city case, requested the urban development bureau to re-examine the case, and sent the case to the taipei city "metropolitan affairs council" for deliberation. after jinghua city claimed compensation on november 1, 2022, ying received nt$45 million in a concentrated period of one month, and the money was suspected to be a bribe.

the prosecution further believed that ying xiaowei often used her power as a legislator to put pressure on civil servants, forcing the staff of the metropolitan court not to dare to express their opposition in official documents. as for the fact that she knew she was under border control but still went to hong kong with her taiwan compatriot certificate, ying xiaowei explained that she needed to go to hong kong to buy medicine for her mother's illness and did not intend to flee. the judge believed that this behavior showed that she had the possibility of fleeing, which became the main reason for her detention.

the taipei court said today that ying hsiao-wei's side filed an appeal, which was sent to taiwan's "high court" at 2:35 p.m. on the 6th.

so far as the investigation goes, five defendants have been detained and denied access to visitors in this case, including ying hsiao-wei, her assistant wu shunmin, shen qingjing, former taipei city deputy mayor peng zhensheng, and former taipei city mayor ko wen-je. except for some of ko wen-je's legal team who said they were still hesitant, the other four have already filed an appeal.
