at 5:50 pm on the 5th, ke wenzhe walked into the prison van with handcuffs on his hands, looking lonely, and did not say a word the whole time. he arrived at the taipei detention center at about 6:30. at 8:15 am this morning, ke wenzhe's lawyer zheng shenyuan appeared at the taipei detention center, and it is not ruled out that he was preparing to file an appeal.

taiwanese lawyer lin zhiqun posted on social media that ko wen-je is in detention and is not allowed to see anyone. his lawyer can file an appeal. if the taiwan "high court" rejects the appeal, ko wen-je will be detained for two months. however, in general, as long as the reason for detention has not disappeared, the detention will be extended, usually until the prosecution or even the first-instance judgment is made, which is at least a year. "so before the end of next year, ko wen-je may have to say goodbye to everyone temporarily." in response, lin zhiqun also said that people's party legislator huang kuo-chang may become the "biggest winner."
