at 2:30 am beijing time on september 6, 2024, my country successfully launched the geely constellation 03 group of satellites at the taiyuan satellite launch center using the long march 6 carrier rocket. the 10 satellites successfully entered the predetermined orbit, and the launch mission was a complete success.

this mission is the largest mass launch mission ever carried out by the chang'e-6 rocket. the model has further improved the rocket's carrying capacity through flight trajectory optimization design and satellite-rocket separation mechanism weight reduction design. as the first domestic liquid carrier rocket to adopt the "three-level" test and launch mode, the chang'e-6 rocket used the newly developed second set of integrated transport erection system for the first time in this mission. while improving the convenience of operation and environmental adaptability, it also added redundant design and testability design to key links, shortening the docking, erection and landing time by two-thirds, effectively improving the work efficiency of the launch site.

in order to meet the envelope requirement of "10 satellites in one rocket", the rocket adopts a three-layer side-mounted satellite layout scheme, which further improves the utilization rate of the space inside the fairing. through reasonable separation sequence design and multiple rounds of separation simulation review, the safe and reliable separation of 10 satellites is effectively guaranteed.
