the system integrates multi-source data such as lightning monitoring, weather radar, sounding, and ground observation, and provides a variety of service products such as real-time lightning monitoring, lightning warning and forecast, weather conditions and forecasts, and historical lightning monitoring information query and statistics. it also realizes digital lightning monitoring and warning services for professional users and key areas through various methods such as computer web, mobile phone and sms publishing.
the system has established point users, group users, small areas and finely customized lightning monitoring and early warning service interfaces suitable for different application scenarios, realizing fine-grained real-time monitoring of lightning based on user location and 0-2 hour short-term warning of lightning risks. it has currently provided services to 242 key industry units such as large oil and gas storage bases, transmission lines, tourist attractions, and airports.

focusing on the meteorological service needs of the "belt and road" initiative, the yunnan meteorological disaster prevention technology center also carries out lightning disaster risk control and hidden danger investigation and management services for the china-myanmar oil and gas pipeline and oil and gas storage bases along the pipeline. this year, the center actively connected with the yunnan company of the national pipeline network group, and included the lightning warning professional services of the three oil and gas storage bases of funing oil station, funing east oil station, and yanshan oil pump station in the procurement plan. for the first time, the lightning monitoring and warning service products were released through the jd e-commerce platform, forming an integrated transaction process of "online inquiry and purchase, contract signing, product delivery" for lightning warning service products, realizing efficient coordination of professional meteorological service procurement and supply chain response.
