in early july, the beijing tongxin gongzhu charity foundation invited more than 800 medical experts from the capital, including dong jiahong, an academician of the chinese academy of engineering and wang jianliu, secretary of the party committee of peking university people's hospital, to ganzi tibetan autonomous prefecture, sichuan province to carry out the "tongxin, co-casting chinese heart" medical charity event. the event lasted for a week, and 90 free clinics were set up in 18 counties (cities) in ganzi prefecture, providing free clinics for 73,000 people, distributing medicines worth 10.8 million yuan, and performing 52 surgeries such as liver and gallbladder, spine and congenital heart disease in children. during the free clinic, medical experts found that the relatively high incidence of local respiratory diseases was related to the high-altitude hypoxic production and living environment.

in august, buchang pharmaceutical actively responded to the call and donated 38,000 boxes of xuanfei baidu granules, totaling 3.817 million boxes, to 148 counties in 17 cities and prefectures in tibet, sichuan, yunnan, gansu, qinghai and other provinces (autonomous regions) through the beijing tongxin gongzhu charity foundation. this donation will help local people with high incidence of respiratory diseases.
