the china international aircraft design challenge is an aerospace scientific research competition that integrates technological innovation, engineering practice, teamwork and competitive competition. it is also the only competition in my country that integrates aircraft design, manufacturing, flight and control, and is open to college and high school students nationwide. it is known as one of the three top competitions in the world's university student aircraft design competitions, along with the american international aviation design competition and the european university student model load challenge.
this competition is the first time that the event has been held in fujian. it is expected to attract nearly 300 coaches and athletes from more than 50 universities, high schools and representative teams from all walks of life across the country. the competition will have university group, high school group and open group, and will include six major events including model water rocket boosting spacecraft, simulated ship-borne collision net recovery, obstacle crossing and attack, and emergency rescue efficiency competition.
nan'an, fujian, aims to make the low-altitude economy "take off first". guided by practical applications, it takes the lead in the application scenario of aviation sports projects, and then extends the low-altitude economy brand with aviation sports ip. it plans to build a number of low-altitude flight camps and digital infrastructure, expand full-scene and diversified application scenarios, build a low-altitude economic professional market and industrial clusters, and accelerate the development of the low-altitude economy in nan'an.
during the event, the nan'an municipal government will also jointly guide and host the fujian province "soaring in fujian" uav application scenario innovation conference with the provincial aviation association, focusing on the market-oriented practical application of low-altitude economic application scenarios. based on the three prefabricated smart aviation flight camps that are about to be built in nan'an city and the 360 square kilometers of airspace that have been approved, a number of innovative new application scenarios covering low-altitude inspections, low-altitude logistics, low-altitude emergency rescue, low-altitude cultural tourism, etc. will be released to the public.
