at the meeting, dazhu county signed investment cooperation agreements with six textile and clothing manufacturers from guangdong, hubei, chongqing and other places, injecting new impetus into dazhu county's efforts to build a ramie industry base with a value of 10 billion yuan. dazhu county signed agreements with the china textile industry enterprise management association and guangzhou julong textile technology co., ltd. to cooperate in the development of ramie industry clusters and ramie product traceability, and jointly promote the revitalization and development of the ramie industry.
ramie has excellent fiber properties and is widely used in textiles, clothing, medical treatment and other fields. dazhu county is known as the "hometown of ramie in china". the ramie planting area reaches 135,000 mu, accounting for more than 40% of the country's ramie area, with an annual output of 20,000 tons of raw ramie. the county has built a complete industry chain of ramie planting, storage, degumming, spinning, weaving and clothing. the annual output value of ramie after local conversion into terminal products is expected to be more than 3 billion yuan.
