lenzing™ ecofiber™ fiber, made with the yufei fiber™ technology, obtains wood pulp from controlled or certified wood sources that meet the standards of the forest stewardship council (fsc®) or the forest certification program (pefc), and also uses pre-consumer and post-consumer textile waste as raw materials. although the recycled pulp content is only 20%, its performance is stable and is no different from that of virgin products. lenzing™ ecofiber™ black viscose fiber uses a solution coloring process to directly incorporate pigments into the fiber. this method does not require additional downstream dyeing steps, significantly reduces water and energy consumption and carbon emissions, and has the advantages of excellent color retention, non-staining, sweat resistance, and high light fastness.
