nio released its august charging report: the battery swap plan for all counties has officially started

according to fast technology on september 4, nio released the "nio energy august charging report" on september 4, announcing the official launch of a new infrastructure layout plan.

the report pointed out that the two major plans of "battery swapping in every county" and "charging in every county" have begun to be implemented.

as of august 31,nio has deployed a total of 2,498 battery swap stations and 23,202 charging piles, providing more than 51.9 million battery swap services.

in august, nio added 40 new battery swap stations, 35 of which were the latest fourth-generation battery swap stations.

driven by the "battery swap in every county" plan, five county-level administrative regions including weicheng district of weifang city, pingyang county of wenzhou city, zhongshan district of liupanshui city, sheyang county of yancheng city, and qingxu county of taiyuan city have welcomed their first nio battery swap station.

in addition, nio has added 285 new charging piles and installed charging facilities in nine county-level administrative regions for the first time, marking the official launch of the "charging in every county" plan.

at the 2024 nio charging day event on august 20, nio also announced the latest construction data of its charging and swapping network, and launched the county charging and charging partner program.

nio’s goal is to achieve charging access in every county across the country by june 30, 2025, and to achieve battery swapping access in every county in the country’s 13 provincial-level administrative regions by mid-2025.

by the end of 2025, nio plans to complete battery swapping in all 27 provincial-level administrative regions, covering more than 2,300 county-level administrative regions.

starting from 2026, nio will continue to work hard to achieve battery swapping in all remaining provincial administrative regions so that more users can enjoy high-quality charging services.
