the reporter noticed that in the video posted by the netizen, the letter of commitment was signed by "puning chengbei middle school" and dated "september 2, 2024", with signatures of students and parents at the bottom. someone commented in the comment area, "does it mean that if you are bullied, you can't keep evidence?" the zonglan news reporter sent a private message to the netizen to find out the situation, but no reply was received before press time.

on the morning of september 4, the reporter called puning chengbei middle school, and a staff member said that they would report the situation and the relevant person in charge would respond. as of press time, the reporter had not received a response.

afterwards, the reporter contacted the puning municipal education bureau, and a staff member said that he was not aware of the situation and would immediately report it to the leadership and verify the situation with the school.

at about 11:00 am on september 4, a staff member of the puning municipal education bureau told zonglan news reporter,after verifying that the situation was true, the school has been ordered to withdraw the letter of commitment it has issued and delete the content "if there is a school bullying incident, we will resolutely not take photos or record videos".the content was changed to "students are prohibited from bringing mobile phones into campus" in order to avoid affecting students' studies.
