on september 3, construction of an international school covering an area of approximately 15,000 square meters has started in the north of guishan park in jinan’s central business district.
the new school is located in the northwest area of jinan cbd core area, west of qifeng road and south of yushun street, and is adjacent to the cliff of guishan park on the south side.
the entire campus will have three buildings, including two five-story science and education centers and one four-story teaching building. there will also be a sports track on the roof of the teaching building.
the site was originally planned to be used as an international school, with a five-story teaching building and a sports field on the roof.
in february 2023, the planning of the plot was changed and divided into two parts, the eastern half became a kindergarten and the western half was used as a science and education center.
