as the 2024 forum on china-africa cooperation (focac) summit is about to be held in beijing, the documentary "neighbors across the thousand miles" carefully produced by china media group has been broadcast on multiple platforms of the group, presenting a panoramic view of the achievements of china-africa cooperation in science and technology, economy and cultural exchanges, and vividly recording the stories of mutual benefit, people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning between china and africa.
"neighbors across thousand miles" consists of three episodes, each 30 minutes long. the first episode, "crossing mountains and seas", tells the glorious journey of china and africa, thousands of miles apart, crossing the long river of time and the barriers of mountains and seas, and working hand in hand on the road to building a china-africa community with a shared future in the new era, allowing the voice of china-africa friendship to echo between the vast land and mountains and rivers of china and africa. the second episode, "walking towards the heart", tells the common yearning of the chinese and african people for health, happiness and dreams, allowing the china-africa friendship tree to bloom more colorful flowers of friendship. the third episode, "towards the future together", shows that china and africa have created a better future for the chinese and african people, nurtured new hope for the world's tomorrow, and established a shining example of a shared destiny for the future of all mankind.
the documentary "neighbors across the world" will be broadcast on cctv-4 at 18:30 from september 2 to 4, and will be broadcast on cgtn english, spanish, french, arabic and russian channels from september 3. since august 15, the program promotional video has been broadcast on 1,297 outdoor screens in africa, national television stations in 19 countries and 13 new media websites, covering 54 african countries and a total coverage of more than 1.4 billion people. after that, the documentary "neighbors across the world" will also be broadcast in many african countries.
