recently, the 2024 big data and artificial intelligence conference (cbdai2024) was held in jinan, hosted by shandong university of finance and economics, organized by the school of management science and engineering and the international exchange and cooperation office, and co-organized by the school of management science and engineering of shandong technology and business university. professor witold pedrycz, a member of the royal society of canada and professor at the university of alberta, professor zhang ruidong of the university of wisconsin-eau claire, professor hu ming of the university of toronto, canada, professor ke yi of memorial university of newfoundland, canada, professor shi peng of the university of adelaide, australia, professor mou jian of pusan national university, south korea, professor luis martinez lopez of the university of jaén, spain, professor wu dongrui, deputy director of the key laboratory of image information processing and intelligent control of the ministry of education of huazhong university of science and technology, professor wu junjie, director of the key laboratory of data intelligence and smart management of the ministry of industry and information technology of beihang university, professor zhang wei of shandong university, professor liu peide, dean of the institute of big data and artificial intelligence of shandong university of finance and economics, and other well-known scholars at home and abroad attended the meeting. vice president zhao kuihao attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. the meeting was chaired by liu weilong, dean of the school of management science and engineering.
in his speech, zhao kuihao introduced the university's discipline construction, scientific research, international cooperation, internationalized schooling, and scientific research and talent training in the field of big data and artificial intelligence. he pointed out that scientific and technological innovation is the core element of developing new productivity. the digital economy promotes scientific and technological innovation and provides important support for accelerating the formation of new productivity. big data and artificial intelligence are new drivers of digital economic development. the theme of this conference is "digital empowerment of new productivity", which is highly consistent with the requirements of the development of the times.
the conference lasted for two days. on the morning of the first day, witold pedrycz shared the large-scale group decision-making model in the data-knowledge environment, wu junjie introduced the personalized product portfolio design, artificial intelligence empowers business model innovation, hu ming explained the randomness of products and pricing as profit levers, ke yi explained the management reliability of dangerous goods and robust emergency logistics, and shi peng introduced the challenges faced by artificial intelligence and network security. in the afternoon, mou jian introduced the meta analysis method using information security research as an example, wu dongrui shared the latest results of ensemble learning, raciel yera toledo explained the interpretability and fairness of group recommendation systems, zhang ruidong discussed the response mechanism for false information generated during the iteration of large models, liu peide introduced the key technologies and applications of the data factor market based on blockchain, and zhang wei demonstrated the latest results of robot learning driven by large models.
on the second day of the conference, four sub-conferences were held: big data and intelligent decision-making, big data technology and application, big data and smart supply chain, and marketization of data elements. scholars attending the conference had in-depth discussions and exchanges on the latest big data technologies, intelligent decision-making methods based on big data, smart supply chain, and data element evaluation and pricing.
the conference was co-organized by the school of management science and engineering and the international exchange and cooperation office. more than 90 people attended the conference, including scholars from the university of alberta, university of wisconsin, university of toronto, memorial university of newfoundland, university of adelaide, pusan national university, university of jaén, huazhong university of science and technology, beihang university, beijing institute of technology, shandong university, shandong normal university, university of jinan, shandong jianzhu university, shandong technology and business university and other domestic and foreign universities, as well as teachers and students from our school.
