the statement said that after meeting with ukrainian president zelensky in the ukrainian capital of kiev, iaea director general grossi said that the recent missile attacks on energy infrastructure in ukraine have caused the disconnection of multiple nuclear reactors from the power grid, and also led to the instability of ukraine's national power grid, posing a risk to the nuclear safety of nuclear power plants in ukraine. the iaea will soon send a team of experts to some of the damaged substations in ukraine to assess the situation on site and report to the agency to study possible follow-up actions.
