in the missing person notice issued by ma mouyuan's family earlier, it was mentioned that the suspected location of his disappearance might be near the "2900 aoshan" location. "the suspected location of the missing person, '2900 aoshan', is only seven or eight kilometers away from aoshan, but that location is nearly 30 kilometers away from where the tent was found," said mr. meng.

"aotai line" is the name given by hikers, which is a main line running between the two main peaks of qinling mountains, aoshan and taibai mountain baxiantai. the straight-line distance is more than 40 kilometers, and the actual distance is more than 170 kilometers. because it is located in the core area of ​​taibai mountain national nature reserve, it is illegal to cross it without authorization. red star news reporters checked relevant information and found that as early as 2018, mei county and taibai county in shaanxi province jointly issued an announcement to completely ban the "zhengtai crossing" activity.
