on september 3, the paper reporter learned that according to the zto intelligent driving unmanned vehicle operation and management platform, the actual mileage of unmanned vehicles on the road supervised by the platform has officially exceeded one million kilometers. the zto intelligent driving unmanned vehicle operation and management platform was launched in april this year, becoming the first digital management platform for unmanned vehicles in the express delivery industry. it has now directly connected more than 100 outlets in 40 cities across the country, with a total of more than 200 unmanned vehicles.
at present, zto's unmanned vehicles have been initially applied on a large scale in many places across the country, serving communities within 15 kilometers of outlets, providing express delivery short-haul transit services, and each vehicle delivers 500 to 800 parcels per day on average. the zto intelligent driving unmanned vehicle operation and management platform has been completed and promoted to zto outlets across the country.
