cnn quoted the queensland state emergency service as saying that the female trainer is 47 years old and has extensive experience working at the tiger island in the park. the tiger island has nine bengal tigers and sumatran tigers and offers experience programs to tourists, allowing people to "feel the tiger's breath up close."
