in addition, the huayuan campus of huijing experimental school also welcomed its first batch of students in september this year. the new campus is located at no. 239 dongguanzhuang road, tianhe district, covering an area of more than 18,000 square meters. it is a nine-year school that can provide 1,680 high-quality places for the surrounding communities. in the 2024 academic year, four classes will be opened in the first grade and four classes in the seventh grade, with a total of 311 students enrolled.
the main building of huayuan campus is made of red bricks and white walls, which is both historical and fashionable, elegant and heavy. the school has an overhead stadium of about 3,500 square meters, including sports facilities such as football fields, basketball courts, and badminton courts, as well as teaching facilities such as libraries, multi-functional classrooms, and laboratories. the classrooms are spacious and bright, with nano blackboards and audio-visual teaching equipment.
the huayuan campus is in the same vein as the huijing headquarters, promoting the construction of a one-body, two-wing characteristic curriculum, that is, a curriculum system that integrates primary and secondary schools, and science and innovation courses and intangible cultural heritage courses.
