beijing business daily (reporter wei wei) recently, the award ceremony of the 2024 (7th) "zhixin cup" national artificial intelligence robot innovation competition, hosted by the china artificial intelligence association (caai), undertaken by the caai artificial intelligence basics committee, and co-organized by the international information research association, was held.

since its launch in 2015, the "zhixin cup" competition has been successfully held for seven sessions. the competition is themed "intelligent innovation·human-machine integration", and includes four major categories: "basic theoretical innovation, key technology breakthroughs, typical demonstration applications, and intelligent robots", with 20 groups. thousands of teams from tsinghua university, beijing university of aeronautics and astronautics, tianjin university, sichuan university and other universities, as well as beijing, jiangsu, guangdong, shaanxi, inner mongolia, and the three northeastern provinces have registered for the competition. the competition is conducted in a combination of online and offline forms, fully demonstrating the comprehensive capabilities of the contestants in multiple levels such as basic innovation in artificial intelligence, innovation in robotics technology, and innovation in scenario-based applications.

the award ceremony was hosted by professor chen zhicheng, deputy director of caai artificial intelligence foundation committee and executive chairman of the competition. professor li angsheng, director of caai artificial intelligence foundation committee and chairman of the competition, made a speech for the competition. professor dai jianhua, deputy director of caai artificial intelligence foundation committee and professor xue zhanao, deputy secretary-general, read out the list of winners. yang wenxue, editor-in-chief of science grand view garden, and others presented awards to the first prize winners. mr. tang shu, executive secretary-general of the competition, made a summary report. professor ma jinwen of the school of mathematical sciences of peking university participated in the roundtable dialogue; mr. yao shun, deputy editor of beijing university of posts and telecommunications press, announced the launch of the "zhixin cup" competition excellent project case collection" collection and selection activities.
