in recent days, she and about 100 chinese and foreign youth representatives from more than 30 countries have participated in the tsinghua international youth dialogue event held by tsinghua university. they visited many provinces and cities in china to learn about china's achievements in scientific and technological innovation, ecological protection, cultural heritage and other fields.
in shanghai, they visited chinese automobile companies and greenland global commodity trade port to experience china's innovative momentum in international trade and intelligent manufacturing. in zhejiang, thriving science and technology parks and innovative companies showed them how new productivity can empower development. in guizhou, young people put on ethnic costumes, experienced tea art, long table banquets, miao and dong embroidery, etc., and felt the charm of chinese culture...
"everything in china is very convenient. whether it's traveling or paying, you can handle everything with a mobile phone." talking about his trip to china, asimwe talked endlessly, "chinese culture is profound and inclusive. people from all countries can live in harmony here. the chinese people are very welcoming. i really feel like i'm at home here."

communicating with people from chinese artificial intelligence companies also excited amir ashim, a 25-year-old nigerian youth who once studied and worked in china and just founded an artificial intelligence company in beijing this year with his friends.
"i've seen that china has many policies to support and encourage foreigners to invest and start businesses. china's innovation environment and the rapid development of artificial intelligence have greatly inspired me and made me believe that i can also realize my dreams here," he said.
zhang runzhou, deputy director of the tsinghua university student global competence development guidance center, which organized the event, said that many young people did not know about china before. after the visit, they felt that the real china was very different from what they had imagined. they had a personal experience of china's poverty alleviation achievements, the concept of common prosperity, and green development practices. "we hope to build a platform for international youth exchanges and cooperation, build consensus among young people, and allow more young people to enter china and understand china."
asimwe said that much of what we had learned about china on social media was not true, and "more young people should come to china to experience the booming development of chinese-style modernization."

at tsinghua university, experts and scholars from many universities, international organizations, and enterprises exchanged views with young people on topics such as technological innovation and green economy, sustainable development and youth leadership, and cultural exchanges and youth responsibility. these also made the young people in africa feel deeply and look forward to the future china-africa cooperation.
"chinese technology is very popular and has been widely used in africa and the middle east." wahba believes that china's technology and experience in climate change, energy transformation, infrastructure construction and other aspects are of great reference value to africa. at present, he is committed to studying the combination of traditional chinese medicine and artificial intelligence, and strives to promote chinese medicine to the world.
