889 million! the national energy administration released important data

by july 2024, the national energy administration had issued 182 million green certificates, of which 40.25 million were for wind power, accounting for 22.09%; 31.48 million were for solar power, accounting for 17.28%; 102 million were for conventional hydropower, accounting for 56.07%; 8.02 million were for biomass power, accounting for 4.40%; and 290,000 were for other renewable energy, accounting for 0.16%.

by the end of july 2024, a total of 889 million green certificates have been issued nationwide, of which 356 million are wind power, accounting for 40.00%; 261 million are solar power, accounting for 29.31%; 204 million are conventional hydropower, accounting for 22.94%; 68.69 million are biomass power, accounting for 7.73%; and 310,000 are other renewable energy power, accounting for 0.03%.

in july 2024, 24.47 million green certificates were traded nationwide (8.48 million of which were traded with green electricity); as of the end of july 2024, a total of 291 million green certificates were traded nationwide (154 million of which were traded with green electricity).
