the sany heavy energy (balikun) large mw intelligent wind power equipment manufacturing industrial park project covers an area of about 675 mu, with a total investment of 1 billion yuan. it mainly produces and manufactures the leading onshore wind power complete sets and ultra-long onshore wind power blades in china. it is an important large-megawatt wind power main engine and ultra-long blade production base of sany heavy energy co., ltd. in xinjiang. among them, the wind power complete set was completed and put into production in november 2023, with an output value of 600 million yuan that year. the ultra-long blade production base is designed to produce 1,200 blades per year. since it was put into production in july this year, it has produced 28 wind power blades. the company's products are mainly used in wind power projects in xinjiang.
chu shuzhe, project director of sany heavy energy (balikun) large mw intelligent wind power equipment manufacturing industrial park, said that the industrial park can produce 5mw to 15mw models, and its main product is 6.75mw wind turbine main engine. it can also produce blades ranging from 94.5 meters to 136 meters. the longest wind turbine blade currently used in xinjiang is 110 meters, and 136 meters is the longest onshore wind turbine blade length.
"according to orders, we currently mainly produce two types of blades: 95 meters and 112 meters." zhang tengfei, manufacturing management specialist of sany heavy energy (balikun) wind power equipment co., ltd., introduced that with the large-scale wind power blades and the diversification of blade shapes, the company focused on process changes and made efforts in core technologies such as material preforming, component prefabrication, and pre-seam batch prefabrication. it also introduced ten advanced equipment technologies in the industry, such as integrated web downward pressure, to improve the blade manufacturing process capabilities and ensure product quality.
as one of the "three bases and one channel" and a large clean energy base planned and constructed by the state, xinjiang has a very important role in promoting high-quality development of the new energy industry, which is closely related to people's livelihood, promoting high-quality economic development, and serving the overall national development. among them, as one of the regions with the best wind and solar resources in the country, the development of hami's new energy industry plays a vital role in the construction of xinjiang's new energy system.
in recent years, the wind power equipment manufacturing industry in hami, known as the "eastern gate" of xinjiang, has developed rapidly. at present, there are 14 equipment manufacturing enterprises above designated size in hami, and the proportion of local manufacturing of various parts and components of wind power equipment is more than 70%, making it the sixth largest wind power equipment manufacturing base in china and the largest in northwest china with the most complete industrial chain.
dou rencai, member of the party leadership group and deputy director of hami municipal bureau of industry and information technology, said that hami has seized major strategic opportunities such as the construction of the third channel for "exporting electricity from xinjiang" and made efforts to build, extend, supplement and strengthen the supply chain. relying on the existing advantages, it will make every effort to build an energy equipment r&d center, manufacturing center and distribution center in xinjiang and even in western my country, and create a national-level innovation and entrepreneurship platform for new energy manufacturing industry.
