li yuxuan, section chief of the primary education section of the qinhuai district education bureau, li zhiting and zhang hongxia, two responsible inspectors of qinhuai district, huang dongmei, director of the moling road community of qinhuai district, two parent representatives of new students, the head teacher and deputy head teacher of the first grade of 2024, and school administrative representatives jointly participated in the event, and families, schools and community worked together to promote educational equity.
during the event, principal zhou feng introduced the new first-grade group, the head teacher team and the balanced allocation of teachers in each class. the school takes into account the balance of gender, teacher age, teaching experience, teaching expertise, etc., and strives to make the composition of the teaching team of each class and subject roughly equal.
vice principal zhuang min introduced the distribution of students in each class. all first-year students who were formally admitted were included in the class division, taking into full consideration factors such as student source structure, gender composition, and class size. all freshmen were divided into 6 groups, marked with letters af, with about 35 students in each class and a male-female ratio of about 1:1.
first, parent representatives randomly put the names of each class into envelopes, which were then checked on site by the qinhuai district inspector and randomly shuffled. then, each class teacher randomly drew an envelope and posted the student names on the spot. finally, the education bureau leaders, district inspectors, community representatives, parent representatives, and school principals signed on site.
